Champions League: Man City Send Response To Tottenham Tweet

Manchester City yesterday sent a congratulatory message to Tottenham, after the latter beat them out of the Champions League on away goal.

Five goals were scored in the opening 21 minutes, and a controversial goal from Fernando Llorente decided the game.

The VAR also disallowed Raheem Sterling’s late winner.

City showed their class after the game with their tweet congratulating Tottenham on their win.

They also wished them well in their semi-final encounter against Ajax.

The Citizens tweeted, “Congratulations and good luck.”

It was a response to Tottenham’s earlier tweet, which read, “What a night! We’re Champions League semifinalist.”
