Solskjaer demands Pogba sold, De Gea to sign new £350,000-a-week deal

The star Frenchman seems set on leaving United this summer with Real Madrid and Juventus fighting it out over a £150million transfer.

The 26-year-old reportedly phoned Maurizio Sarri as he attempts to force a move away from Old Trafford and Solskjaer is ready to let him go.

The Norwegian is desperate to raise funds for new signings to boost his pitiful £100m transfer budget.

Pogba has refused to pledge his future to United and fuelled rumours above a move away last weekend when he admitted he was contemplating a “new challenge”.

UNITED are back in talks with David De Gea and confident of getting him to sign a new five-year deal.

An offer of around £300,000 a week has been on the table since the turn of the year.

But United are ready to increase that to £350,000 a week to tempt the Spanish keeper to stay put.

That will be a huge increase on his current £200,000-a-week package — but still short of the staggering £505,000 a week that United flop Alexis Sanchez earns.

Arsenal almost done with first summer signing after £6m agreement

The Gunners new arrival is a major boost for the club and he is set to pen a five-year contract at the Emirates.

Martinelli currently plays for Brazilian side Ituano but has previously had trials at Manchester United and Barcelona.

Both clubs have kept tabs on the youngster, but Arsenal look to have sealed his signature according to reports.

He scored ten goals and six assists in 31 outings last term as he continued to track interest far and wide.

Martinelli’s £6m fee is small change in the modern game and will allow the Arsenal boss to continue pursuing his other targets.

Emery has around £40m to spend this summer and will have to sell players should he want any extra cash.

Danny Welbeck was recently let go by the club following the expiration of his contract leaving them light of a striker.

The former United striker struggled for minutes last season having fallen behind Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who notched 35 goals between them.

Man Utd set to offer £45m, plus a player to land West Ham star

Manchester United are interested in signing Issa Diop, however, there are reports that the Hammers are adamant that Diop is not for sale and it is believed they would not even listen to offers of less than £60m.

Diop played 38 times last season after West Ham signed him from Ligue 1 outfit Toulouse last summer for £22m.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s main priority remains the signing of a new centre-back this summer, but they have been told that Napoli want £100m for Kalidou Koulibaly, while Leicester value England defender Harry Maguire at £80m.

Jose Mourinho singled out Diop for praise when his side lost 3-1 at West Ham in September last year, and it would appear that the player left a lasting impression on the club despite Mourinho’s exit in December

United remain interested in Crystal Palace’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka – with a third bid believed to be on the cards for the right-back , while central midfield reinforcements are also on the cards if Paul Pogba leaves for Juventus, Real Madrid or PSG.

Wales international winger Daniel James has already arrived at Old Trafford in an £18m deal as Solskjaer looks to revamp a squad that struggled last season.

Eden Hazard reveals what Thibaut Courtois told him before joining Real Madrid

Hazard has signed a five-year contract with Real Madrid and was officially unveiled to the club’s fans on Thursday.

Hazard scored 110 goals in 353 games for the Chelsea after joining from Lille in 2012.

The Belgian star will join former Chelsea team-mate Courtois in the Spanish capital and has revealed the goalkeeper was keen to see him arrive through the doors at Real.

‘I spoke a lot with Thibaut about Madrid, he told me that if I had even a tiny chance to come here I had to take it because it’s the greatest team in the world,’ Hazard said.

Hazard developed into a club legend during his seven-year stay at Chelsea and scored twice to help the club win the Europa League last month.

On his Facebook page, the 28-year-old said: ‘Leaving Chelsea is the biggest and toughest decision in my career to date.

‘I hope you understand I had to pursue my next chapter, just as each and every one of you should when you have the chance to pursue your dreams.
