Ed Woodward gives green light to £125m double transfer.

What Paul Pogba said after Man Utd’s 4-0 win over Chelsea



Manchester United star, Paul Pogba, has insisted that he is happy at the club following his side’s Premier League 4-0 victory over Chelsea on Sunday.

Marcus Rashford netted twice, while Anthony Martial and James also got on the scoresheet, as the Red Devils kicked off the new campaign with a big win at Old Trafford.

Pogba publicly expressed his desire to leave Old Trafford for a second time in his career during the summer transfer window after he told reporters in Japan that he wanted “a new challenge”.

The 26-year-old drew interest from Real Madrid and his former club Juventus, which he joined from Man United in 2012.

However, the France World Cup winner has now insisted that he is enjoying his football again at the club.

Speaking after Man United’s win over Chelsea, Pogba reassured Man United fans that he was happy and will give his best every time he is on the pitch.


He told RMC Sport: “I’m always good when I play football. “I do what I love, it’s my job.

“I will give my best every time I’m on the pitch. Now, we know that there were words. The future will tell.

“One always remains on this point of questioning. I am in Manchester. I’m having fun with my teammates, I always want to win the matches.

“I will always give myself thoroughly when I am on the ground.”

Man United will tackle Wolves in their next Premier League fixture on August 19.

Man City sign new LaLiga goalkeeper, agree huge fee for defender



Manchester City have signed 35-year-old goalkeeper, Asier Riesgo from La Liga side, Eibar, according to reports.

City are ‘hours away’ from announcing the signing of the goalkeeper.

Riesgo who had declined the offer of a new contract at Eibar, will provide cover for Ederson and Claudio Bravo at City.

City will send young goalkeepers Aro Muric and Daniel Grimshaw on loan to get valuable experience following his arrival.

Riesgo will also be allowed to develop his skills as a goalkeeping coach in City’s academy.


In another development, City has agreed to meet Napoli’s huge £107m asking price for Kalidou Koulibaly.

Following captain Vincent Kompany’s departure to Anderlect, City are looking for a new central defender.

Leicester City’s Harry Maguire has also been linked with a move to the Etihad.

The report added that Pep Guardiola’s side will meet Napoli’s huge £107m for the defender.
