United have been strongly linked with a move for the Senegalese powerhouse in recent seasons and they look set to break the bank to capture his signature
Manchester United are preparing to make a huge bid for Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly as Ole looks to strengthen his squad for next season.
Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis is not prepared to let him leave cheap, however, and is demanding a world-record fee for a defender.
Koulibaly has made a name for himself since moving to the south of Italy from Belgian side Genk in 2014.
The Senegal international has made 192 appearances in five years, scoring eight goals.
English fans will get a glimpse of him up close when Napoli take on Arsenal in the quarter-finals of the Europa League next month.
He is currently on international duty as Senegal prepare to take on Madagascar and Mali.
